Here and there we use snippets taken from historical documents to illustrate a certain atmosphere that has been around back in the times. The Panarail Train Service provides a neat ride from the Panamanian Pacific coast to the Atlantic and vice versa. The ride will take you from Panama City passing along the Miraflores Locks, the marvelous Gatun Lake with it's extraordinarily rich nature, then the Gatun Locks and finally to Colón which counts to the top beach views in the world.
The Panama Canal Railway Company offers daily service (Mon–Fri) between Panama and Colon. Business commuters may purchase a monthly pass, which is transferable, that provides them with an assigned, reserved seat in one of our executive-service cars.
Walk-up passengers do not need to make reservations in advance. Tickets are sold at the passenger station before departure or at our offices. For groups larger than 10 it is recommended that you contact the marketing department ahead of time.
